My kid is going to swim in winter in outdoor pool which is heated. Do you think wet suit is helpful ? The coach told me that it is kind of hard to make arm move. Is it true ?

Wearing a wetsuit would be counterproductive on many levels. If the pool is heated, a wetsuit will cause the swimmer to overheat and dehydrate. A wetsuit adds a significant amount of buoyancy, so the swimmer's balance and stroke would be affected--not a good thing for stroke and drill work or for training in general. Swimsuit Companies are coming out with non-buoyant "skin suits," but do you really want to throw down three hundred bucks because your kid might be cold in a heated pool?
