I believe waves are wind, current driven.
Tsunami’s are massive displacements of water because of a thrust fault punching up into the water,
Or a massive land slide punching into the water.
surfing big waves …
surfing big waves is all about being comfortable in the water and lots of experience in progressively bigger surf. since laird grew up in hawaii, he was surfing 10-15 ‘hawaiian in his early teens.
