rashguards/rideshirts are s’posed to fit a little snug and yeah it will be on the short side (if it bothers you then just go to the next size) and no it shouldn’t change too much once it’s wet. it’s just mainly to protect you from the sun and keep the wind off of you a little.

Rash-guards are supposed to fit like a second skin and be very snug and possibly short depending on your torso length.
If you want a looser one, try going one or two sizes larger, it will fit more like a long sleeve shirt.
