don’t wear underwear, do a bathing suit. water gets in a little through a wet suit.

when i wear mine i just put my bathing suit on underneath. it doesn’t bother me at all

Typically it’s either nothing or a bathing suit. (I prefer bathing suit). Sorry, but pads are kind of out of the question…water leaks through wetsuits; that’s how they work! Wetsuits trap a layer of water against your skin, which your body heats with its own heat and you thus stay warm because your body isn’t trying to warm the whole ocean…only a little water.
Dry suits trap air against your body, which is warmer, but dry suits are expensive and require a lot of maintenance. Not really worth it.
Sorry about the pads thing…I know, I HATE TAMPONS! I can hardly force my body to use them even in extreme cases! Just relax and keep trying. : /
